How alert monitoring works: Only products with a reorder level >
0 trigger low-stock alerts and appear in the Inventory Forecast. Set reorder level
to 0 to completely silence a product (useful for discontinued, seasonal, or
products you don't actively stock). The reorder level is the quantity threshold below which an
alert fires.
